Why merchants switch

Keep your Stripe account to yourself

Chargeblast’s Stripe app asks for read and write access across your account: it can “update, close, and escalate disputes and submit evidence”, “create, update, and cancel refunds”, and “create, update, pause, and cancel subscriptions” [CB1]. Its terms make the service depend on “access credentials, API keys, and permissions” [CB2]. Our email route needs only the dispute notice your processor already sent you.

A price that does not move when your ratio does

Chargeblast’s terms say that if you are placed in a card-network monitoring program, “Company may adjust Services, fees, or these Terms accordingly”, and that other changes to its terms take effect “immediately upon such publication” [CB2]. A merchant near a monitoring threshold is the one who most needs a stable bill. Ours is $1,499 or $2,999 a quarter whatever your ratio.

No contract to sign, nothing to unwind

A Trustpilot reviewer leaving Chargeblast’s alerts service wrote that “the offboarding process has taken over three weeks”, and another, who asked for the lower price a new customer had been given, said Chargeblast “asked me to sign a two-year contract” in return for part of it [CB5]. Our plans end when you cancel online, with nothing connected that needs switching off.

What Chargeblast’s customers say

Chargeblast rates well overall: 4.4 stars from 163 reviews on Trustpilot [CB5] and 4.7 from 49 on the Shopify App Store [CB6]. None of the reviews we found on Trustpilot or Shopify mentions Recovery, its dispute-response service; they are about its alerts.

“the offboarding process has taken over three weeks”

Trustpilot, 5 August 2026, 1 star [CB5]. The reviewer had used Chargeblast’s alerts for about two years.

“asked me to sign a two-year contract”

Trustpilot, 11 July 2026, 2 stars [CB5]. The same reviewer writes that “The chargeback prevention works well.”

Who should use which

Chargeblast suits a merchant that wants prevention alerts and dispute responses from one supplier, is comfortable granting it standing access through Stripe or another integration, and has disputes small enough that 15% of each win costs less than a flat fee [CB1, CB4]. representments.com suits a merchant that wants a response written for each dispute within 48 hours, no access granted to its payment account, and a quarterly price that stays put.
